Mr. Lewis formed the Lewis Group/CORFAC International
in 2000 after sixteen years as a commercial real
estate broker with several local and national commercial
real estate companies including Cushman & Wakefield.
Mr. Lewis was also a principal and one of the two
founding brokers for the local Colliers affiliate.
Mr. Lewis’ practice has focused on acquisitions
and dispositions for corporate clients. In his
twenty-two year career, Mr. Lewis has sold or leased
in excess of 60 million square feet of industrial
space and over 2000 acres of land for clients such
as Fisher Scientific, Fed Ex, General Electric,
Georgia-Pacific, Panattoni Development, Philips,
U.S. Postal Service, SYSCO, Bristol-Myers Squibb,
Verizon, and more. Mr. Lewis has been involved
with the site location for four projects in North
Carolina in the last eight years whose dollar value
exceeded $100 million each.
During his career, Mr. Lewis has been recognized
for his work with numerous awards including
the Carolinas Chapter of SIOR Largest Industrial
Transaction in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2003
and
2005. He earned
the REDY Awards/Deal of the Year for the Largest
Office Transaction in 1998 and the same award
for the Largest Industrial Transaction in 1999.
Mr. Lewis holds both the Certified Commercial
Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial
and Office
REALTORS (SIOR) designations. He is a past
president of the Carolinas Chapter of SIOR,
which encompasses
North and South Carolina and is the third largest
chapter in the world.
Mr. Lewis is a graduate of the University of
North Carolina-Chapel Hill and the Episcopal
High School
in Alexandria, Virginia.

Elwood Munz has been in real estate marketing
since 1982 and has worked full time as a commercial
real estate specialist since 1989. Mr. Munz has
a broad educational background including a year
of Basic Engineering and Pre-med at University
of Maryland Medical and John Hopkins Medical School.
Mr. Munz graduated with Honors with a Bachelor
of Arts in Economics at University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Munz gained experience in top management in
the Textile Industry until 1985. Elwood has earned
the CCIM designation held by the top commercial
brokers, and was the Broker-in-Charge of GVA Advantis’ Raleigh
office before joining The Lewis Group/CORFAC International. He was involved
in over $10,000,000 in Commercial Sales in 2005
plus a number of individual leases both as Landlord
representative or Tenant representative. In 2004,
he was ranked among Raleigh-Durham’s Top
25 Broker’s as a CoStar Power Broker based
on 2003 leasing transaction volume.
Mr. Munz has over 20 years of experience in all
aspects of commercial real estate, including sales,
leasing, and consulting and has worked in the office,
retail, industrial, and land markets.

Daniel Brown began his commercial real estate
brokerage career in 1980 in Miami, Florida. In
1984, he joined Arvida, one of America’s
premier master plan community developers. Mr. Brown’s
primary responsibility was the implementation of
the commercial component within Arvida’s
master-planned communities. He was responsible
for the process beginning with the initial conceptual
master plan and design, the overall marketing strategy
including the direct sales and leasing, as well
as property management and the property’s
final disposition.
In 2006, Daniel joined The Lewis Group/CORFAC International. Here he
will employ his experience to offer clients a development
alternative. His focus is on development for clients
and investors as well as establishing a build-to-suit
strategy.
Daniel was responsible for the sale of six shopping
centers and over 25 suburban office buildings,
as well as several commercial and residential land
transactions during his twenty year career with
Arvida. During that period he leased over half
of a million square feet of retail space. His last
responsibility was the sale of the 228,000 square
foot Weston Town Center, a lifestyle center located
in the heart of Arvida’s Weston community.
